FixPal

Terms of use

Draft: to be checked by a solicitor before FixPal is offered to customers.

Last updated 7 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and [Company name] Ltd (company number [company number], [registered address]) for using FixPal. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. What FixPal is

FixPal helps tradespeople price jobs, send quotes, keep track of jobs and invoices, and record payments. It is for business use by sole traders and small firms.

2. Your account

3. Free trial and subscription

Refer a trade

4. Your quotes and prices

FixPal does the sums, but you set the prices and decide what to quote. Please check each quote before you send it. The agreement for the work is between you and your customer; we are not part of it.

5. Fair use

Please don't:

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. We'll tell you why unless the law stops us.

6. Your data

Everything you put into FixPal is yours. You can download it or delete your account at any time from Settings. Our privacy policy explains how we look after it.

7. Your customers' details (data processing)

For your customers' personal details, you are the controller and we are your processor. We will only use them to run FixPal for you and on your instructions (which these terms and your use of the app make up); keep them confidential and secure; only use the providers listed in the privacy policy (and tell you before adding new ones); help you answer your customers' requests; tell you without delay if they are ever exposed; and delete them when you delete your account. You confirm you have a lawful reason to store your customers' details in FixPal, which is normally that you need them to quote and do the work.

8. If things go wrong

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using FixPal and delete your account whenever you like. We can end it with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously break these terms. Either way you can download your data first.

10. Changes and the law

We'll tell you before any important change to these terms. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute.
